Sophie Carpenter (MBCAP) is a registered person-centred counsellor with a rich background in care, support work, and wellbeing coordination. Her passion for helping others led her to train at South Coast Wellbeing and complete her placement as a bereavement counsellor at St Wilfrid’s Hospice. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Dementia Studies and now works with adults of all ages.
Sophie has a particular interest in couples counselling, offering a safe, non-judgmental space where partners can reconnect, rebuild trust, and improve communication. Her warm, down-to-earth approach helps couples feel at ease as they work through challenges and strengthen their bond.
Sophie lives in Horam with her partner, their three children, and their dog.
